What's happening at Qwarn?

The outdoor stage has welcomed audiences in all kinds of weather since 1995. The restaurant stays open until the last ticket holder has gone home. And the bus back to Västerås C leaves shortly after closing time—so you don’t have to drive.

Pancake Buffet
Eat as many pancakes as you can with whipped cream, jam, toppings, and sprinkles. Prices: Adults: 179 SEK, children up to 6 years old: 79 SEK, children up to 12 years old: 99 SEK. For just 20 SEK extra, you can also enjoy our pizza buffet.

From October 31 to November 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we welcome you to one of the most atmospheric Christmas markets of the year. With over 60 vendors—both indoors and outdoors—you’ll find crafts, delicacies, and all the little treasures of the Christmas season.

The outdoor stage has been welcoming audiences in all kinds of weather—rain or shine—since 2009. Artists who draw thousands—and a sound system that makes it sound just that little bit better. The dining room is open all evening, the bar stays open late, and you can book a table here while you buy your ticket over there.

People know about the concerts. What they don’t know is that summer kicks off with a shrimp feast every Thursday starting in May and continuing through the end of August. That the gin tasting with Västerås Distillery fills up all 50 spots every time. That the summer quiz draws people who don’t even usually go to quizzes. And that the Midsummer celebration at Qwarn is the annual homecoming party for half of Hallstahammar.

A bus ride home is included in the plan
On most concert nights, we sell bus tickets along with the admission ticket. The bus departs around 2:10 a.m. and stops in Strömsholm, Kolbäck, Hallstahammar, and Västerås C.
You only need to park once. Then you don’t have to worry about it anymore. Bus tickets must be purchased in advance along with your concert ticket—they cannot be bought at the venue. Check the specific event page to see if a bus is available.
From Västerås, you can get here by bus or train to Hallstahammar or Kolbäck. From downtown Kolbäck, it’s about a 40-minute walk to Westerqwarn.

Is it possible to get home without a car?

Where can I buy tickets for the concerts?
Through Tickster — a link is available on each event page. Buy your tickets well in advance; the big concert nights tend to sell out. Ticket prices at the door are always higher than advance prices.
Can I eat at the restaurant on concert nights?
Yes, and we recommend it. Please reserve a table separately through the booking page—the restaurant is open all evening, but tables fill up quickly on concert nights.
Is there an age limit?
It varies by event. The summer concerts have an 18-year-old age limit since alcohol is served throughout the venue. Family events, such as the pancake buffet and shrimp feast, are open to everyone. Check the respective event page for the latest information.
Can we rent Westerqwarn for our own event?
Yes. The banquet hall, outdoor stage, and conference rooms are available for booking.
