Companies, organizations, and bus tours are welcome to join us for lunch at the Strömsholm Canal. You choose your dishes from the menu; we’ll set the table for your entire group and make sure everything is ready when the bus pulls in. Lunch is served daily between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Salad, bread, a beverage, coffee, and cake are included with every meal
All dishes are served with a mixed salad, bread, butter, and a beverage—either Loka, soda, or light beer. Coffee and cake are served after the meal. The price per person is listed next to each dish on the menu below, so you’ll know the total cost of lunch before you book.
Lunch is served daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You’re free to choose any dishes from the lunch menu below. We always accommodate special dietary needs on an individual basis—please let us know what you require when you book.
The driver eats for free; the tour guide eats for free when there are 50 or more people
If there are at least 30 of you, the driver eats for free. If there are more than 50 of you, both the driver and the tour guide eat for free. That’s our way of saying that the person who drove the whole group here shouldn’t have to pay for their own meal.

Westerqwarn is located 20 minutes from Västerås and is easily accessible by bus
Westerqwarn is located along the Strömsholm Canal in Kolbäck, 20 minutes from Västerås via the E18 and the Kolbäck exit, and 30 minutes from Eskilstuna. Buses can easily access the area, and there is plenty of parking available.
As the bus turns onto the gravel road, you’ll see the buildings first, then the canal. Lunch will be waiting for you when you get off the bus.

Group lunches are available for groups of 30 or more. For smaller groups, a venue rental fee starting at 500 kronor applies, depending on the venue you’re assigned. The kitchen prepares meals based on your group size, so we need to know how many people will be attending and any special dietary requirements well in advance of your visit. We’ll confirm the exact details when you make your reservation. If you’d like to combine lunch with other activities—such as a canal tour, mini-golf, or a tour of the mill—please mention this in your inquiry, and we’ll put together an itinerary that fits your schedule.

How many people do we need?
Group lunches are available for groups of 30 or more. If your group is smaller, that’s fine too, but in that case, there will be a venue fee starting at 500 kronor, depending on which venue you’re assigned. Please get in touch, and we’ll find a solution that works for your group.
What is included in the price per person?
Choice of main course, mixed salad, butter and bread, a beverage (Loka, soft drink, or light beer), and coffee and cake after the meal. Main courses cost 179, 199, or 249 kronor per person, depending on your choice.
Does the driver eat for free?
Yes. For groups of 30 or more, the driver eats for free. For groups of 50 or more, both the driver and the tour guide eat for free.
Can the whole group choose different dishes?
No, everyone chooses the same one. Exceptions are made for special dietary needs.
On which days is the group lunch served?
Every day, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Let us know the day and time the bus arrives, and we'll have everything ready when you get off.
