Westerqwarn has space for just about anything you can plan or gather around. A conference at Vinden on a gray, overcast Tuesday in March. A kickoff event for 60 people with lunch at Magasinet and an evening at the Pub. A shrimp feast on the summer terrace in August. A memorial service at the Museum on a quiet autumn day. Magasinet, the Restaurant, the Pub, Vinden, the Museum. Seven venues in the same building—and we’ve done this before. Just let us know.
A kickoff for 60, an anniversary for 130, and a christening for 30 can all take place in the same building
Company kickoff with a conference at Vinden, lunch at Magasinet, and an evening at the Pub. Strategy day at Vinden with coffee and pastries by the canal during the break. 60th anniversary celebration with a three-course meal at the Restaurant and a wrap-up at the Pub. Christening at the Museum with a sandwich cake from Håkans Hembageri and a kid-friendly menu. Memorial service at the Museum in a peaceful setting with room for anyone who wishes to attend. We host conferences of all sizes—from small groups to larger gatherings.
For dinners and banquets, our standard is for groups of approximately 30 people or more, for which we offer our regular menus and set-ups, but we’re flexible and can tailor solutions for smaller groups as well when possible.

Seven venues in the same building, plus an outdoor stage
From the Restaurant for 55 and Vinden for 45 to Magasinets long table for 130 and the Pub for 300 when the party gets going. In between, there’s the Winter Terrace, the Museum, and the Pizzeria for smaller or more intimate gatherings. The outdoor stage can accommodate up to 2,000 guests under the open sky.
Which venue is right for you depends on the number of guests, the time of year, and what kind of evening you want to create. Often, it’s a combination of venues, since the celebration rarely stays in just one room.
The food is prepared on site by the same kitchen that runs the restaurant
Buffets start at 279 kronor per person and go up to 425 kronor for the Festbuffén, which includes a charcuterie platter, honey-glazed chicken, and hot-smoked salmon. Three-course menus start at 579 kronor with pikeperch or at 599 kronor with beef tenderloin. You can also create your own menu by selecting from our dishes. For memorial services, there is a separate menu featuring a sandwich cake from Håkans Hembageri (250 SEK per person, or 295 SEK with a slice of cake).
The entire party must choose the same main course menu, with the exception of special dietary requests, which we always accommodate individually. Pizza is not included in the banquet reservation but is served during regular business hours. If you’d still like pizza for your party, please let us know and we’ll make it happen.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people do we need?
A minimum of approximately 30 people for our standard conference and banquet packages, where we offer all-inclusive solutions that include the venue and catering. We can also accommodate smaller conferences and groups, in which case we’ll work with you to find a customized solution based on your needs, the venue, and the event format.
When should we make a reservation to get the venue we want?
The sooner, the better—especially for summer dates, when Magasinet and the outdoor stage are in high demand. Call 0220-406 88 or email info@westerqwarn.se and we’ll check availability for your date right away and hold it for you free of charge for a few days while you make your decision.
How far is Westerqwarn from Västerås?
A 15-minute drive along the E18 toward Köping; take the Kolbäck exit. About 20 minutes from Västerås, 30 minutes from Eskilstuna, and about 1.5 hours from Stockholm. Trains run to Kolbäck Station on the Mälarbanan line; it’s a five-minute taxi ride from there to us.
Do you host memorial services?
Yes. Memorial services are usually held at the Museum (up to 60 people) or the Restaurant, depending on the size of the group. We’ll tailor the pace, food, and tone to your preferences. Please call us directly at 0220-406 88 if you’d like to discuss this.
What is the cancellation policy?
For groups of 30 to 40 people, the final headcount must be provided no later than 1 week before arrival. For groups of 40 people or more, the headcount must be finalized no later than 2 weeks before arrival. Other terms and conditions will be agreed upon at the time of booking.
Can we order wood-fired pizza for the party?
Pizzas from the wood-fired pizzeria are not included in standard banquet reservations but are served during our regular business hours (Wed–Sun). If you’d like pizza for your group, we can arrange that separately—just let us know, and we’ll discuss the details.
