Come here for the food and let your visit last longer than planned. A round of mini-golf, an ice cream at the ice cream counter—and suddenly an hour has turned into an afternoon. Everything is located in the same area along the Strömsholm Canal in Kolbäck.
The old mill buildings have been preserved and converted into venues for weddings, parties, conferences, baptisms, and memorial services. There is room here for both grand and intimate events, in a setting that exudes warmth and character.
The Family Outing
Lunch, twelve holes, and an ice cream cone take up half a day
This is the routine many families with children end up following, and it’s what makes Saturday last longer than the meal does. The restaurant, the mini-golf course, and the ice cream parlor are right next to each other, so no one has to get in the car in between activities.
The order doesn’t really matter. Some eat first and then play; others take on the course while the pizzas are baking in the wood-fired oven and sit down when the food is ready. Ice cream comes last. That’s the only rule.
In the summer, you’ll linger outside after your meal, and then the half-day often turns into a full day. People are rarely in a hurry to leave here.

No reservation needed. Mini-golf is usually best enjoyed on a drop-in basis—you pay on the spot whenever it’s convenient, and if you arrive in the middle of the lunch rush, you can play while tables turn over.
The course is open during the summer season. When it closes for the year, darts and board games remain, and then the day shifts toward the wood-fired oven instead.

Two dart lanes with automatic scoring, available for hourly reservations
Two modern lanes with an automatic scoring system, which means no one has to count backward and no one can argue about the score. You book one hour at a time, preferably in advance. If a dart lane is available when you arrive, you’re welcome to play right away. Just talk to the staff, and we’ll help you get started.
Darts are just as great before dinner as they are for extending the evening afterward. For conferences and groups, we’ll help you schedule the activity where it fits best into your day.

Board Games
The board games are available as long as the restaurant is open
A simple game at no extra cost, for anyone waiting for their meal or who doesn’t want to go home right after coffee. It’s a small thing. Still, it makes the evening an hour longer than planned, and rain outside the window is actually the best kind of weather for them.

Groups
Groups of more than 20 people must book the activity in advance
If your group has more than 20 people, please let us know in advance. Not because it’s complicated, but so that the courses, tables, and kitchen can accommodate all of you at the same time instead of in shifts. You can include both food and activities in the same reservation, which means your day will be one continuous event instead of two separate sessions.
Canoeing, swimming, and golf are just outside the gate
One more thing to do in the area without having to drive away from here: Lakeside Adventure rents out canoes and SUPs at the mill, so you can take a trip on the canal the same day without anyone having to drive. Do you have to book the mini-golf course in advance?
No. Twelve holes, drop-in; you can take care of it on-site once you've finished eating. The exception is groups of more than 20 people, which we ask you to book in advance so that everyone can play in sequence instead of standing around waiting.

25 SEK for children up to 12 years old, 50 SEK for adults, and 100 SEK for a family of two adults and two children. The dartboard costs 100 SEK per bookable hour. Board games are free as long as the restaurant is open.

It takes about 20 minutes by car from Västerås and five minutes from Hallstahammar to get here.
